After missing the Hobbit trilogy, this would be a real treat for Middle-earth fans.

Viggo Mortensen would love to play Aragorn again in The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. Leaving Middle-earth many years ago, the actor stayed away from franchises and high-budget blockbusters, but for the sake of his favorite character is ready to sign on again. He stated in an interview with GQ magazine.

I love the character. I learned a lot from playing Aragorn. I would do it again.
Viggo Mortensen

Mortensen added that an obstacle to a comeback could be his age. The actor is now 65 years old. He also said that he does not know anything about the new movie, so far no one has contacted him.

One of the most enigmatic characters from the Lord of the Rings saga, Tom Bombadil, will appear in the new season of Amazon’s Rings of Power series. This was confirmed by the portal Vanity Fair, which published a series of exclusive shots.

Bombadil is played by actor Rory Kinnear, who previously starred in “Ministry of Ungentlemanly Affairs” and “A Kind of Man”.

Tom Bombadil is one of the most unusual figures in J.R.R. Tolkien’s novel. In canon, he is the oldest inhabitant of Middle-earth, who is the master of the Old Forest and the surrounding area. He was the only one who was immune to the power of the One Ring. Tom looked like a simple old forest dweller, who sang carefree songs, liked brightly colored clothes, and was a kind of forest spirit.

Anya Taylor-Joy does a great job continuing the Charlize Theron thing, and Chris Hemsworth is just goofing around.

Nine years ago, perhaps the most driving action movie of the 21st century – “Mad Max: Fury Road” – was released worldwide. The continuation of the classic trilogy was in production for about 20 years, but George Miller did not give up, and what is no less important – did not sell the franchise to someone else. And the result did not disappoint.

“Fury Road” not only gave viewers the return of Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson was replaced by Tom Hardy, but perhaps it’s for the best), but also introduced the equally cool heroine – Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron. Now her solo story has been released. To be more precise – a prequel, telling about the formation of the character.

“Furiosa” – flesh from the flesh of “Road of Fury”. The movie has the same drive, great chase scenes, atmospheric filming and familiar characters. For this we can forgive him some conventionality – after all, Miller once again tells a fairy tale for adults.

What the movie is about
Young Furiosa (in the beginning she is played by Alila Brown, who was given a computer-generated face of Anya Taylor-Joy) lives in the Valley of Plenty, where everything is ruled by women warriors. One day, the girl is kidnapped by a biker gang led by the arrogant Dementus – Chris Hemsworth with a false nose.

The mother dies trying to save her daughter, and the villain wants to ferret out Furiosa’s whereabouts in order to grab resources. Eventually the bikers move towards the Citadel and lose a battle with the followers of Immortal Joe. This is how the girl falls to a tyrant obsessed with her offspring.

Years later, the conflict between Dementus and Immortal Joe escalates again. This becomes an opportunity for Furiosa to take revenge on her captor.
